What you can do on the survey map

• See survey number boundaries (హద్దులు) for a whole village on satellite, road or terrain view.
• Find the survey number of the place you are standing — use your phone's location and tap the field.
• Telangana: pick a village or mandal, type the survey number (e.g. 91/1) and the map flies to it.
• Draw your plot on the map — tap its corners, trace it with your finger, or pick a whole survey number.
• Download a land sketch report (PDF): the plot drawn on satellite with the survey lines, each side's length, the survey numbers on the north, south, east and west, and the corner coordinates — plus a KML file for Google Earth.

How to see your land map with the survey number

1. 1Open Survey Maps and log in with your mobile number (OTP).
2. 2Allow location, or search your village / town name.
3. 3Turn on the “Sy.No” button. Survey numbers appear once you zoom in close to the fields.
4. 4Tap your field to see its survey number, village and mandal. In Telangana you can also use “Find Sy.No”.
5. 5To mark your own plot inside it, switch to Measure and draw it.

See your land's boundaries and its neighbours

On the map, each survey number's boundary is a line on the satellite photo, so you can see where your field ends, which survey numbers touch it, and whether a road, canal or lake is next to it. When you draw your plot and download the report, it lists the survey numbers on the north, south, east and west — the way a sale deed's schedule of boundaries does — so you can compare them with your documents.

Which states are covered?

Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, village by village. In parts of Hyderabad city the map shows Town Survey (T.S.) numbers instead of village survey numbers. Some villages and newly resurveyed areas may be missing or show older numbers — the report tells you when a plot falls outside the survey data.

In other states you can still draw your plot on the satellite map; survey numbers are not shown there yet.

Survey map vs. the certified village map (FMB / tippan)

The government's certified village map — called FMB (Field Measurement Book) in Andhra Pradesh and tippan in Telangana — is the legal record of a survey number's shape and measurements. Our map is a digitised copy of the village maps placed on a satellite photo, so you can find and check land quickly. Use it to locate a plot, compare it with what the seller shows you, and plan a visit. For registration, a bank loan or a boundary dispute, get the certified copy or a licensed surveyor.
